Supernatural Childbirths are not uncommon, they show that our God is alive and listens to our prayers. Read and be renewed by Oghale Omosa’s story.
Luke 17:15-19 (NIV) says, One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
I’ve felt led to share this testimony for months now, but I kept postponing it for very selfish reasons, but it’s wrong for me not to give praise to Him whom praise is due! Gosh! Where do I even begin?!
In the first 3 months of pregnancy I struggled with fear of miscarriage. I had 3 spiritual attacks that attempted to make the object of fear a reality but I held on to Malachi 3:11b “neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field …” and oh, did the Lord of hosts indeed show Himself more than faithful!
I prayed Psalm 91 daily!
Fast forward to the last trimester, we were believing God for supernatural childbirth. Though everything around us seemed not to want to agree with it, “Agbani Lagbatan” showed up big time!
Our hospital was over an hour away during the day due to traffic, but Labour started at night, so there was no traffic and we made it there in record time. My uncle who usually works nights was miraculously home that night, so getting to the hospital was stress free.
At the hospital, we were told to expect a long labour because this was our first but to everyone’s surprise, in less than 2 hours we had our baby in our arms.
Even when the devil tried to play his trump card and I lost consciousness a few hours later, God showed why He is “Oghenegaren”, “Atogbojule”, “Atogbokanle”, “El-Shaddai”!
“Ovie”, you are much more than “BabaChé” and I ever prayed for or imagined you’d be.
To His glory, I am still alive as a testimony of His greatness
