The Hungry Entrepreneur

The Hungry Entrepreneur

Tobias is at the top of his game. He is into medical equipment and his company has been the first to come up with a device that açcurately detects cancer. The good thing with the device is that it tells what type and stage of cancer it is.

Even though it was 10 years in the making, technology made it easier and faster for him to achieve the desired result.

Orders flooded in from around the world and his pocket is lined. He feels fulfilled and wants to put his feet up, retire and start enjoying the wealth he has created.

He thinks the company is structured enough that it can actually run itself. Yet, he also feels a sense of longing. He feels there is something more he can do.

As an entrepreneur, at what point can you say, for real, that you are “there”? Is it when profits have peaked? When your product has become a household name? When you have been in business for ten or twenty years?

Consider companies like Ford, Volkswagen, Peugeot that have been in existence for over a century, why are they still in business? What is their hunger?

Beyond the reason why you started the business, what is going to keep in business for the next 10, 20, 30, 100 years?

What is your hunger? Legacy? Succession? Generational wealth?

Looking forward to your thoughts on this one, businessmen and women…! Have a blessed #MondayMarket
