A changed life

My life has been hard in the past two years. Those years were not easy at all. I was going from one problem to another.

I couldn’t pay my house rent; when I had fifty thousand Naira, I sent it to the landlord. When I had a hundred thousand Naira, I also sent to him. Amazingly, the man didn’t complain or say a word about it.

At a particular period, my daughter put half of a bead into her nose and we had to take her to the hospital. We moved from one hospital to another until we got to General Hospital, Ikeja.

The medical bill at the General Hospital was only Five thousand Naira but even that I didn’t have. But God sent a friend to me with the money.

On the penultimate crossover night, I was so depressed about the year that I came in late for service. I looked round at the joyful faces of other people and wondered, ”why are they so joyful?” I stayed for ten minutes and left.

By His grace, I am in 2019 and I am joyful and expectant about this year. Growing up in church makes it easy to get used to the church culture.

Through the messages and teachings of @iamwhiteolive, I know that there is always a word that comes and makes all the difference.

My faith in God is rekindled; I have hope again and I know that no matter what, God loves me and He will take care of me. My life is changed.

Have you lost hope because of life’s challenges? What message did you hear that changed your life?

Remember that God loves you no matter what you’re going through.
