Count Your Blessings

Just like that, March is gradually marching to an end; signifying the end of the 1st quarter of the year 2019.

‘Count your blessings name them one by one…’

As a child, sitting in the pew on Sunday morning, listening to the choir sing their hearts out, hitting all the right notes; it always gave me goosebumps. It felt like the heavens opened and God was smiling down at me.

As an adult, even on very bad days, it serves as a reminder that, if I take a minute, and think about my life, I can always find something to be thankful for.

Didn’t get that promotion? God is the reason you didn’t lose the job.

Don’t have money in your pocket? God is the reason you still have clothes with pockets.

Feeling sad? God is the reason you can still feel – dead people can’t feel a thing!

April marks the beginning of another quarter. So far, so good, what are you thankful for?

Let’s make a list together! Your family and friends can join us too! I am sure it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

Share your list with us in the comments section and at testimony@whiteolive.org
