Your Purpose And Your Treasure

TEXT: Ephesians 1:11-12, Colossians 1:16 (MSG)

Two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you figure out why you were born. God does not create things without a reason, everything was created for a purpose. Join us now for ‘your purpose and your treasure’ on @iamwhiteolive #XLiving

As long as you have breathe, there is a purpose for your life. The fact that you are alive makes your life meaningful. If you want to know the purpose for your life, you have to start with God, because only your creator can tell you what your purpose is. You can only get this through the manual of the maker. You were made by God and you were made for God. Until you understand this, life cannot really make sense.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE? (Revelations 4:11b NLT)

  1. God created you just to love you
  2. He created you for his pleasure
  3. He planned you for His pleasure
  4. God is Love and he made you in His own image. He didn’t need you, but he wanted you (Psalms 149:4 NKJV)
  5. God takes pleasure in you all the time (Ephesians 1:4 MSG)

The focus of God’s Love is us because He has given us the capacity to love him back. God knows everything about you and he loves you all the same. Life is all about love and if you don’t get that, you have missed the first purpose of your life (Hosea 6:6 LB). You need to know God and love God.

The most important thing you can know is that God loves you and the most important thing you can do is to love Him back. Do you know that a lot of people know lots of things but don’t know God? (1 Timothy 6:21 LB)

How do you know when you don’t know God? By WORRY! When you worry, you are acting like God doesn’t exist. You are acting like an orphan who doesn’t have a Heavenly Father. The enemy tries to attack you with discouragement through thoughts that sink you deeper into cluelessness. It is very easy to switch into worry. When you sense this, pray in the Spirit and the feelings will disappear.

The Joy of the Lord is your strength. Your strength as an individual and a Spirit being gives Him pleasure. Worry doesn’t edify, it only glorifies the flesh. You don’t worry when your treasure is in heaven.

Where is your treasure? (Matthew 6:19-21 and 6:24-34 NKJV).

Where is your heart?

The purpose of God for your finances is to have abundance just as Jesus was never limited by resources (Matthew 17:24-27 NKJV). When the love of God becomes priority in your life, then you unlock abundance. The devil does not want you rich therefore he will attack your finances but you have to engage the Supernatural (Ephesians 6). When you engage the supernatural, you cause certain events to happen that will defy logic. God has given us total dominion, we have to take it (2 Kings 13:14-19).

Do you love God? What is your number one priority? Take a decision and make a commitment today to love God and see His extraordinary happen for you.
